of the Premonstratensian Order, dating from 1119. laying just off the Leiston to Yoxford road.

THE MARKET COMPLEX, HADLEIGH
i first discovered this lovely market town in my youth, in a Hillman minx, on route to visit family in the lovely Clare, when petrol was 6/8d a gallon. I fell in love with its medieval buildings and friendly country folk then and get back whenever I get the chance.

Taken from the river wall just north of Woodbridge where the tidal surges from the north sea meets the tranquil waters which flow through the likes of Melton, Pettistree, Wickham Market & Easton.
